Here’s what Sam Milby said about the separation from Catriona Gray.
Actor-singer Sam Milby was emotional in GMA’s FTWBA as he talked about his painful breakup with beauty queen Catriona Gray.
“It makes me sad, may babala ako sa mga tao. Please mag-ingat kayo sa mga nakikita n’yo sa online. If there’s no evidence, ‘wag n’yong paniwalaan ‘yung nakikita n’yo because in this incident, there’s absolutely no truth to it at all,” says Sam Milby previously clarifying that Moira Dela Torre was not the third party in his split with Catriona Gray.
In February 2025, Sam confirmed his split with Catriona but did not go into further details. It’s been over a year since they separated. To recall, it was in May 2024 when speculations about their relationship being in trouble surfaced.
They were engaged, and recently, in an interview with Boy Abunda in his GMA show, he became emotional while speaking about the matter.
“It wasn’t only [na] mag-boyfriend and girlfriend kami; we were engaged. To have that not pushed through, it’s been really rough, honestly,” Sam admitted. He also confessed that the split was difficult for him.
Just like he always did, he did not speak about the details of the split and explained his side in staying quiet.
“I don’t want to go into details. The more you talk about an issue, mas maraming bala ‘yung mga tao to use against you, and there’s no point,” he said. He also admitted that it was hard talking about it and something he did not want to talk about.
He expressed that it wasn’t easy on his part dealing with the breakup, contrary to what most believe. It was hard for him as they were not just simply a couple; they almost got married, and to end something that serious also deeply affected him.
