Canceled Flights For August 2 (Friday)

CANCELED FLIGHTS – The airport authorities have declared the cancellation of two domestic flights due to the inclement weather condition.

On Friday (August 2, 2019), the state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area and southwest monsoon would affect the country’s weather condition.

The combined effects of the two weather system brought heavy rains that caused severe flooding over some parts of Metro Manila.

Canceled Flights

Earlier, the local government units have already declared the cancellation of classes due to the bad weather.

PAGASA even raised a yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila and Zambales because of the monsoon rains.

Recently, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced the cancellation of flights as of 1:00 pm this afternoon due to the effects of the two weather systems.

The suspension of flights has been declared to ensure the safety of the passengers.
