The two fighters have exchanged words in the past during press conferences and interviews. Thurman has also made claims about putting Pacquiao in his place and sending him into retirement. He even made a bet that he will knock Pacquiao out within the first three rounds.

To which the boxing legend responded: “I wanna thank him, than you for the donation.”

Their bout is set to happen on July 21st at Las Vegas. This is one of the most anticipated match up in a while.

On Friday, the people champ revealed that he is planning to teach the undefeated American boxer a lesson when they brawl in Las Vegas.

In a conversation with Fox Business, the people’s champ specifically said: “I want to teach him, like a professor.”

He also revealed that he is currently in a much better shape compared to when he boxed Adrien Broner last January in which he won by unanimous decision.

During the weigh-in, Pacman also told a crowd of his supporter that he is “…so prepared for this fight.”

Both boxers weighed in at 146.5 pounds.

Pacquiao, with a historical record, holding 8-division world title, says he had just attended ‘one of the best training camps’ with the ‘best conditioning.’

During their face-off, Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman seemed unfazed by the Hall of Famer’s presence.

He claimed:

“I will still be champion tomorrow night. Manny Pacquiao ain’t doing nothing to me baby!”

This is according to an article from ABS CBN News.

His long time coach and partner Freddie Roach also noticed that the Filipino boxer is somehow bothered by Thurman’s remarks.

He also explained before how the boxing legend fights better when he doesn’t like his opponent:

“He is bothered by some things said, and I like that (Manny) does get angry. I do like when Manny doesn’t like his opponent because he does fight better.”

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
