Trust Ratings of Pres. Duterte Before the SONA 2019
DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte got high trust ratings prior to his upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA) 2019.
Currently, it is only five(5) days left before the fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. It will be held on July 22, 2019 and will be attended by most people under his administration.
Also, the Duterte SONA 2019 is expected to hook the Filipino people. It is an opportunity for the President to talk to the citizenry and lay down his plans and the accomplishments under his administration.
Recently, days before the SONA 2019, the Pulse Asia released the results of its survey. It showed high trust ratings for Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Based on a report on GMA News, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte gets 85% approval as to the Pulse Asia survey results. It was conducted nationwide from June 24 to 30, 2019.
Based on the results, 11% of the respondents are undecided while only 3% are not satisfied with the leadership of the President.
Aside from Pres. Duterte, Vice President Leni Robredo and Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III also got high trust ratings according to the Pulse Asia survey.
Vice Pres. Robredo got 55% approval based on the report.
Sen. Sotto got 77% approval ratings and only 7% of the respondents are not satisfied with his performance as a Senate President.
Based on the report, former President and now House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo got the lowest trust ratings based on Pulse Asia survey. She got 26% approval ratings and 46% of the respondents showed little trust on her leadership.
Reportedly, 1,200 respondents who are 18 years old and above were interviewed for the Pulse Asia survey. It was a face-to-face interview conducted in June.
