Signal No. 1 Raised by PAGASA In The Following Areas As Tropical Depression Falcon Keeps Its Strength
The state weather bureau PAGASA raised Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 in several areas as Tropical Depression Falcon keeps its strength.
On Tuesday (July 16, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.
PAGASA reported that Tropical Depression Falcon keeps its strength while moving westward over the Philippine Sea.

Falcon maintained its maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 65 kph moving 30 kph in a west direction.
Here is the list of areas under TCWS No.1:
- Northern Isabela
- Cagayan
- Batanes
Light to moderate with occasional heavy monsoon rains are expected over MIMAROPA, western Visayas, Albay, Masbate, Sorsogon, and northern Samar.

The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.
Meanwhile, the weather bureau said that sea travel over the entire archipelago remains risky.
PAGASA also said that Tropical Depression Falcon is expected to leave the country’s vicinity on Friday (July 19).
