- Starving for weight loss – This method can actually do the opposite. A balanced low calorie diet is the key to shed some pounds.
- Coffee on impaired growth – There were no conclusive findings from many studies have connected coffee on stunt growth.
- Cracking knuckles causes arthritis – This is a myth but cracking knuckles might lead to reduced grip strength and swelling in the hands.
- Turkey makes you sleepy – This is definitely a myth. Being sleepy is not caused by the Tryptophan found in Turkey, it is the overeating in Thanksgiving celebration that gives us the long nap.
- Chocolate causes acne – It is accordingly the peanuts in chocolates that causes acne.
- The bigger, the healthier – This is not true. The bigger body is not directly associated to being healthier.
- Carrots for night vision – They are good for eyesight but they aren’t that good. And if this myth is true, it would be really awesome.
