Butch Francisco Gives Advice To TV Networks Following Eddie Garcia Accident

EDDIE GARCIA – Actor and host Butch Francisco gave advice to tv networks on how to prevent accidents on set following Eddie Garcia’s death.

Award-winning actor Eddie Garcia died on Thursday, June 20. He tried to fight for his life 12 days at the Makati Medical Center.

The 90-year-old celebrity accidentally tripped over a cable wire while taping for his Kapuso tv series ‘Rosang Agimat.’

In a previous article, Eddie Garcia’s fellow actor Philip Salvador aired his thoughts about the incident.

“Dun po sa lahat ng mga fans niya, sa mga followers niya, hindi po siya inatake. Mahusay po at matibay ang puso ni Eddie Garcia.”

“Nadisgrasya po siya. Na-aksidente po siya. Sumabit po ang paa niya sa kable. Siya po ay 90 years old. So, hindi po siya naka-balanse. Bumagsak po siya at hindi po maganda ang kanyang pagbagsak,“ said Salvador.

After Eddie Garcia’s death, actor Butch Francisco gave advice to the tv networks to prevent similar occurrences from happening again in the future.

Based on a report from Bandera Inquirer, the former host said some tv networks are “greedy.” He revealed that the production staffs are always cramming to beat their deadline.

Because of that practice, some important aspects of productions are compromised.

According to the report, Butch Francisco gave a tip on how to avoid the tragic accidental death of Eddie Garcia.

He suggested that cable wires could be wrapped with plastics so no one on the staff or actors will have to cross.

Based on the report, the former host also gave an advice on how to minimize the pressure in shooting especially when it’s a daily program.

Francisco suggested that tv networks apply vertical programming again. It’s when a show will only be played once-a-week.

On that way, the production will have enough time to make their show better and to avoid cramming.
