Broadway diva Lea Salonga reacted to the recent Twitter post of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez as she said, “may point si Ate”.

Lea and Regine are two of the most popular female singers in the Philippine music industry. They are also two of the divas with the most number of hit songs.

Aside from music, these two women with remarkable singing prowess also ventured into acting. Lea is known to be a star in Broadway with hit movies, especially during the 90s.

Regine also did several blockbuster movies and TV shows. Indeed, no one can refute their talent and dedication to their works.

Although there are some people who tend to compare them, no intrigue can affect their friendship. One proof is the recent tweet of Regine Velasquez which received a reaction from Lea Salonga.

The Asia’s Songbird appeared to be ranting against bashers who are criticizing her social posts.

Regine said, “Ok just want to say sa mga nakikitingin ng videos at pictures ng mga artista kung ayaw nyo makita mga pagmumukha namin why are you guys following us??!! Bat kayo magtataka puro mukha namin ang adun???ah nag iisip ba KAYO???

Then, Regine replied to this with “hahaha” and netizens also slammed the basher or those with this kind of attitude on social media.

Twitter user @carmcis1 said, “to be honest, i think a substantial number of your followers are not really fans. some of them are just waiting for you to say something they don’t like or they don’t agree with and use them against you.”

Several netizens also expressed their excitement for the much-awaited back-to-back concert of the two divas.
