29-Year-Old Teacher From Bohol Asks For Help
29-YEAR-OLD TEACHER – The 29-year-old teacher from Bohol is diagnosed with kidney disease.
A breadwinner is the ones who are financially responsible for his/her family’s survival. They’re the one who provides food, goods, house maintenance, or sibling’s tuition fee.
Being a breadwinner is not that easy, some of them may quit their studies to start working at a very young age.
Based on a report from Inquirer, a breadwinner named Cris Victor Baay was diagnosed with kidney disease last March 2018.
The 29-year-old teaches English to senior high school at Gagohoy National High School in the province of Bohol.
He has a master’s degree in educational management. Financed himself during college. He worked as a fast-food chain crew member and a janitor.
“I am trying to be strong for myself because I am practically the father and mother now of my three brothers and five sisters,” said Baay.
According to the report, the 29-year-old teacher is the 3rd child among the 9 siblings. Two were married while the second child is a farmer.
His 5 youngest siblings were still at school and three of them were enrolled in college.
Baay’s father died in 2015 because of intestinal problems while his mother passed away in 2010 due to cardiac arrest.
“Doctors said I probably weakened my kidneys by not taking my medication for high blood pressure,” he said.
Based on the report, the 29-year-old teacher undergoes dialysis at Tagbilaran City Community Hospital every Wednesday and Saturday. He paid P2,000 per session.
If there’s anyone who is willing to help the breadwinner, he can be reached at 0909-4450040. Donations may also be deposited in his BDO account #007810215148.
We can all hope that he will soon be relieved from his sickness.
