China’s Huawei Signs Agreement To Develop 5G In Russia

CHINA HUAWEI – Guo Ping, deputy chairman of China’s Huawei signed a deal with the Russian telecom company MTS to develop a 5G.

In 2019, Huawei became the largest telecom supplier and the number 2 smartphone maker world. The Chinese telecom giant shrunk Apple’s iPhone last year.

The United States government banned the China smartphone because they fear that Beijing could be spying their and other countries.

The administration of President Donald Trump banned all US companies from selling high-end equipment to the Chinese telecom.

Trump has persuaded several leaders not to accept the 5G network in their country like Europe. However, Europe ignored US’ call to ban it since maybe purposeful to the development of their country.

Several companies have withdrawn their business with Huawei, including Youtube and Google.

Due to this, China’s smartphone will be in turmoil but not until they create their own operating system and chips for their phones.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the Russian telecom company MTS signed a deal with Huawei to develop the 5G network in their country on Wednesday, June 5.

They will start their collaboration and development of the fifth generation cellular network technology next year.

According to the report, the deal was signed with the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“The development of 5G technologies and the pilot launch of fifth-generation networks in 2019-2020,” MTS said.

Based on the report, the deputy chairman of Huawei, Guo Ping, expressed that he was “very happy” with the deal “in an area of strategic importance like 5G.”

Obviously, the Chinese telecom giant is doing their best to survive in the competition.
