Alex Gonzaga is set to meet the mayor she called with a foul remark.
ALEX GONZAGA – The Kapamilya host and actress Alex Gonzaga is set to have a meeting the reelected mayor of Parañaque, Edwin Olivarez, after all the issues.
Over the weekend even before the election day came at the height of the campaign of the politicians, the viral video of Alex Gonzaga which was now deleted, showed that she has apparently called the rival of the politician she endorses as “may pagkamadugas”. Thus, controversy about her being a “persona non grata” in Paranaque has surfaced based on a previous report.
Gonzaga’s controversial remark has reached the other camp and this was confirmed by her sister Toni Gonzaga who said that she is actually “dealing with the matter privately with the city already, and they’re going to have a formal talk, a formal meeting.”
Also, Parañaque city administrator Ding Soriano refuted that Alex was declared as “persona non grata” in their city as Mayor Olivarez, despite being aware about the matter, stated that he is not taking it personally “because it’s part of politicking”, thus, no persona non grata against Alex.
“She will move on from this. ‘Yung babaunin niya dito ‘yung lesson na natutunan niya… Si Alex, she’s taking everything one day at a time, and she’s maturing from every challenge na pinagdadaanan niya,” Toni said in ABS-CBN’s report.
Furthermore, “Iyon siguro ang maganda rito: she knows when she falls down, and when she commits a mistake, she owns up to it, and she moves on and she learns.”
