Kapamilya actress-host Alex Gonzaga was allegedly declared as persona non grata in Paranaque City.
Alex was able to pave her success in show business outside the shadow of her older sister Toni Gonzaga.
Her fans love her way of bringing fun and laughter in her vlogs and in her hosting stints.
She recently received criticisms when she attended the private dinner at the Malacanang Palace with President Rodrigo Duterte.
Alex explained that they got an invitation but she had no idea what was the gathering was intended for.
As her father joined the mayoralty race in Taytay, Rizal, some netizens concluded that was her reason for attending the private dinner.
Apparently, this not just the issue about Alex Gonzaga that surfaced on Twitter. GMA writer Suzette Doctolero asked in her post the reason why the Kapamilya actress-host was declared persona non grata in Paranaque City.
Twitter user @imyethyeth commented, “sabi niya mandurugas daw yung mayor ng paranaque while campaigning for the opposition.”
Another netizen, Twitter user @MimiBelo28 appeared to have known the incident also.
“Nanira nang mayor na hindi naman niya kilala (laugh emoji) ayon!” the netizen said.

Meanwhile, Twitter user @sweethaina24 commented that the father of Alex Gonzaga was defeated.
In line with this, the actress-host shared a message for her father on her Instagram story.
“We are so proud of you. You fought a good fight daddy,” she said. Then, she also congratulated her boyfriend Mikee Morada for winning as Lipa City councilor.
