Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the Philippines for today, May 11, 2019.

On Saturday (May 11, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition in PH.

PAGASA said that another low-pressure area was spotted at 570 kilometers east northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

The low-pressure area would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over CARAGA and Northern Mindanao.

The southwesterlies would bring cloudy weather with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and Aurora.

The localized thunderstorms carrying partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers would affect the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms and occasionally heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the surrounding sea conditions over Luzon would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.

Slight to moderate coastal waters are also expected over the Visayas and Mindanao.
