Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.

On Friday (May 10, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA is now monitoring a low-pressure area (LPA) spotted at 860 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur that would affect the weather condition over some parts of the country.

The southwesterly surface windflow would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The Intertropical Convergenze Zone (ITCZ) and the LPA would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, CARAGA, and Davao Region.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the rest of the country.

The weather agency warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate.
