Eversince, the announcement of Liza Soberano backing out for portraying the iconic “Darna” role, a lot of people have immediately placed their bets and actresses they wanted to have the role next. And one of the favorite actresses of the majority is Nadine Lustre.
Even the filmmaker Erik Matti firmly suggests that Lustre will be perfect for the role as he said, “Ang feeling ko lang, si Nadine ‘yung babagay talaga sa tipo niya, sa tipo na role ni Darna… Hindi talaga pupuwede ‘yung model-model, para sa akin, ha? Hindi puwede ang beauty queen.”
And with this, Lustre became everyone’s bet for the iconic role. Based on previous report, she expressed, “I mean, if it’s meant for me, sa akin po ibibigay. But like what I’ve said before, I know that the project is going to be given to someone who can give justice to the role.” Just recently, in a video shared by Donnalyn Bartolome, she just screamed “Darna!” and netizens are so amazed by it.
