6 Year Old Boy Who Was Shot By Caloocan Police Buried Yesterday
INTERMENT DAY – The burial of Gian Habal – six-year-old boy shot by Caloocan police last April 28 – was held yesterday (May 6, 2019).
In Caloocan City, several attacks have been reported this past month. Last April 6, 2019 (Saturday), an eight year old boy was shot by an unidentified gunner.
And in this current report, another attack happened that involved another young kid. Note: The details of the report might contain graphic descriptions.
Just recently, six year old boy Gian Habal died of a gunshot. The kid was hit in the head which is a very critical spot for a gun wound, the shot eventually caused his early death.
The incident happened back in April 28, 2019, when a Caloocan cop was pursuing a suspect. The pursuance eventually lead the officer to engage in a gunfight with the suspect.
Going after the suspect “Alias Butchok”, one of the bullets during the gunfight caught the six year old’s head.
Later on, a ballistic examination was made and the bullet ‘s origin was traced.
The bullet was found to have come from the gun barrel of Police Corporal Rocky delos Reyes.
The chief of the National Capital Region Police Office or NCRPO confirmed this information last Thursday (May 2, 2019).
The result of the ballistic examination will then be forwarded to the Office of the Prosecutor to add as legal evidence against Police Corporal Delos Reyes.

De los Reyes is now charged with murder and attempted murder.
It is also being investigated if an administrative case can be filed against him.
Meanwhile, in a Twitter post made by ABS-CBN, it was stated that Gian Habal’s interment happened yesterday (May 6, 2019).
