The BAR EXAM 2018 topnotcher is Sean James Borja from the Ateneo de Manila University and here are a few details about him.

Last November 2018, more than 8 thousand hopeful lawyers took the bar, 22.07 percent of them passed the examination.

Following this, the Top 10 Passers were announced and Atenistas are so proud to see that the top name on the list is from their school.

Borja graduated from the law school in 2018 as the class valedictorian. During his speech, he shared his experience as an LGBT community member who was aspiring to be a lawyer.

This will come as no surprise to many of you: I am an openly homosexual law school student. When I got to law school, I promised myself that I would push it to the very limit. I promised that if there was ever a path where I could become my best version, I would take that path and see how far someone like me could possibly go.”

He also pointed out these three vital reminders to his fellow graduates that time.

After graduation, the Bar Exam 2018 Topnotcher worked at Gulapa Law as an underbar associate of the firm.

Listed down in his educational attainment were: Ateneo Law School, Juris Doctor, 2018 (Valedictorian, Merit Scholar, Jessup Moot).

Sean James Borja got a 89.30 percent score and that made him number 1.
