The next Darna? Here’s the reaction of Yen Santos
Halik actress Yen Santos reacted to the possibility that she could be the next Darna after Liza Soberano exited from the movie.
Liza announced that she could no longer continue shooting for the iconic Pinay superhero movie because of her finger injury.
Following this, fans have expressed who they want to play the Darna role. Previously, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, as her name rose as one of the fans’ choices, said that she is willing to do everything for the role.
However, she said that ABS-CBN and Star Cinema still have the last say if who could fit to be Darna.
One of the names included in the fans’ list of possible Darna is Yen Santos.
When she was asked about this during a recent interview with Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, Yen said humbly, “Ay! Wow! Naku po! Baka po puwedeng ako na lang yung bato.”
Apparently, she found it funny that she is one of the choices.
Then, she was asked to react to the possibility that she could be the next Darna.
“Naku, feeling ko po ano, hindi po yun para sa akin,” Yen answered.
Meanwhile, the actress shared that she is going to miss a lot as their show Halik is about to end.
“Super-duper happy ako and very thankful talaga na naging hit yung show and siyempre sobrang pasasalamat namin sa fans na talagang tinutukan kami from the very beginning,” she said.
Yen added that she hopes viewers will continue to support them until the last episode of the hit primetime series.
After this TV project, she will focus on the current movie she is shooting titled Two Love You, based on the report.
