Chin Chin Gutierrez became a nun?

Former actress Chin Chin Gutierrez caught the attention of the online community when a netizen said that she already became a nun.

Chin Chin or Maria Carminia Lourdes Cynthia Gutierrez is one of the most prominent actress during 90s.

Aside from her beautiful face, she was recognized because of her remarkable talent. Chin Chin received various acting awards. She received the Best Actress award from Gawad Urian in 1995 for her role in 1994 ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya: The Movie”.

In addition, she also bagged the Best Actress award from the first Asian Television award in 1996 and 1998 as Best Supporting Actress.

Behind her success in the showbiz industry, Chin Chin left the glitz and glamour of the world where she used to live.

Reportedly, she dedicated her time promoting her advocacy in environmental preservation. She also became a highly sought-after resource speaker and lecturer for Environmental Education.

According to reports, she entered the Carmelite Convent to become a nun and followed the footstep of her mother who was a former Franciscan nun in Italy.
