DOJ is verifying if Xian Gaza really went out of the Philippines
Social media personality Xian Gaza claimed that he was able to sneak out of the Philippines amid 3 warrants of arrest and the Department of Justice is verifying if this is true or not.
It can be recalled that Gaza was arrested on April 12, 2018, over an investment scam, or for violating the Anti-Bouncing Checks Law.
According to a previous report, Gaza was charged five years and six months of imprisonment and will pay the complainant over P2,180,000 and litigation costs.
The social media personality was released on bail a day after that.
Through his Facebook account, he narrated how he allegedly to leave the country last September 30, 2018.
Xian Gaza elaborated that he bought tickets to three separate flights – one bound for Singapore, while the other was for Taipei and another one bound for Hong Kong.
Then, he checked in online for his two decoy flights and waited for the check-in counters to close. After that, he checked in for his flight to Hong Kong.
Based on the report from ABS-CBN, the DOJ is already verifying the claim of the social media personality.
A recent post on the FB account of Gaza elaborated his future plans. He said that he will not be able to be traced anymore because he will have a new identity.
