Angat Dam Water Level Might Drop To Critical Level By The End of April 2019
The water level in Angat Dam might possibly dropped to the critical level next month that might affect the water service in several areas.
At the end of April, the allocation of water supply and power generation might be reduced due to the decreasing water level.

According to PAGASA, Angat Dam’s water level is rapidly decreasing around 0.3 to 0.4 meters per day and could drop to its critical level next month.
As of now, the dam’s water level is 195.54 meters but might drop to 180 meters, which is considered as its critical level.
The National Irrigation Administration is also prepared if the water allocation will be reduced.

Minimal lang po ang magiging epekto sa NIA dahil pagdating po ng katapusan ng Abril ay mahigit singkwentta porsiyento ay nakaani na,” Engr. Josephine Salazar, NIA-Region 3 Regional Manager.
The National Water Resources Board (NWRB) also assured the public that the domestic consumption would be the main priority.
