The 91-year-old teacher has been teaching at Madyaas Institute at Albasan Numancia, Aklan for 69 years now. In fact, the Principal of Madyaas Institute named Franklin Ituriaga was once his student.
Aside from being so fond of teaching, the father of Gonzalo Maravilla’s was one of the founder of the school.
A lot of people might discuss that at the age of 91-years-old, he should no longer be teaching. However, Madyaas Institute is a private school, so they can let Maravillas teach despite his age regardless of the mandate of the Department of Education.
