Two College Men Caught in Possession of Illegal Substance
TWO COLLEGE MEN – Police officers caught two college students in possession of illegal drugs they claimed they need it to study.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte aims to stop all the Filipinos in using an illegal substance since he took office last June 20, 2016.
The president urged all the authorities and public official to report any personalities who are involved in using and selling illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, two college students from Cebu City landed in jail after they were caught in possession of an illegal substance last Friday night.
Based on a report from Inquirer, a 2nd-year civil engineering student named Marlito Alberca and a 3rd-year medical student named Blake Bantugan claimed that they need the dangerous drug to keep them awake while studying.
Police officers were watching both of them while walking on a sidewalk at Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City when unknowingly they dropped a packet of illegal drugs.
According to the report, Corporal Giovani Frasco and other policemen were assigned in the area that Friday evening. They noticed the 24-year-old Marlito Alberca was acting
Bantugan was about to receive the item from Alberca but suddenly it dropped to the ground. The policemen immediately walk over to the two college student and caught them with the prohibited drug.
Based on the report, Marlito Alberca confessed to the authorities that he brought the illegal substance at Sitio Alaska of Barangay Mambaling. He also disclosed that he was supposed to share it with Blake Bantugan.
The two college students are temporarily detained at the Mambaling police station. We can all hope that these two young men have learned their lesson.
