Karen Davila’s “college degree” remark received reaction from Manny Pacquiao
Senator Manny Pacquiao gave his reaction regarding the “college degree” remark of Karen Davila to him during a recent interview in her show.
During that said episode, the ABS-CBN’s broadcast journalist asked the opinion of the boxer/politician regarding the requirements to government officials to have a college degree.
“Sa mga debate ngayon tinatanong, kailangan ba ng college degree para sa, college degree para sa isang pangulo,sang-ayon ka ba doon Manny?” Davila asked.

In line with the manner of Davila’s questioning, netizens slammed her. Several netizens said that she sounded disrespectful.
With regards to the negative comments of netizens to Karen Davila, Manny Pacquiao expressed his reaction.
Based on the recent post of News 5’s Facebook account, the lawmaker said that he did not feel offended during the interview.
“I was never offended by her manner of questioning. Isa po siyang batikan sa larangan ng broadcasting. Kung may formal training sa boxing, may formal training din sa education,” the Senator said.
He added that he continues learning not only in academics but also in life.
Pacquiao also called out to those who are criticizing Davila after the interview.
“Pakiusap ko lang po, let us stop the hate. Magtrabaho lang po tayo para as kapakanan ng ating bayan,” the boxing champ said.
