One of the people who are included in the final list of the senatorial candidates for Election 2019 is Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos. Most of her family are inclined to politics.
The Ilocos Norte Governor is the daughter of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and former First Lady Imelda Marcos. Her brother is also a political figure – former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Marcos is undeniably one of the prominent surnames in the Philippine political arena. Until now, the people are still divided into the controversies surrounding the regime of the late President.
Undeniably, there are accusations that the Marcoses stole money from the Philippines. Some believe it while others believe that it was under the former President’s time when the country was at her best.
Currently, the son of former Pres. Marcos, former Sen. Bongbong Marcos, continues in his complaint regarding the result of the 2016 election for vice presidency while his daughter, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, is running for Senator.
Just around three months before the Election 2019, some campaign materials are already up. While others elicit support, some materials are being poked fun by people.
Recently, a video of a woman poking fun at the campaign material of Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos went viral on social media. It was shared by a netizen behind the username “Anthony Suriaga Comedia”.
According to the netizen, he saw the video posted on the Facebook page Millennials PH. In the viral video, it could be heard that a woman is accusing the younger Marcos of stealing while pointing and laughing at the campaign materials.
