This is what happened to the childhood bullies of Xian Lim
Kapamilya actor Xian Lim revealed what happened to the bullies who brought misery to his childhood.
Xian previously shared that he also suffered from bullying during his younger years.
He shared about this during the height of the Ateneo bullying incident.
According to Xian, he was beaten for being introvert and for having a different accent.
“Dumaan ako sa point na yung incident na yun, parehong-pareho. Yung kasama ko, pinapahalik sa akin ang sapatos. Sa akin, ginawa ko. Natatakot kasi ako. Nakita niyo naman sa picture ko, mukha akong kabully-bully, mukhang walang kaibigan,” Xian shared.
He also shared that it came to the point that he chose to eat his lunch in the bathroom just to avoid his bullies.
“May pagkakataon na natututukan pa ko ng kutsilyo,” he added.
Fortunately, the actor was able to overcome that phase of his life by involving himself in sports.
Though Xian Lim has moved on from that drastic part of his childhood, still he thinks that his choice of having a small circle of friends was a result of what happened.
“Siguro yun din po ang reason kung bakit meron lang akong small circle, natatakot ako dahil sa naging experience ko,” the actor said.
When asked what happened to his bullies, Xian said that one is in prison while there was one who was shot dead, based on Abante’s report.
Meanwhile, the actor shared that he felt the need to post his bullying experience to encourage others to speak up.
