Previously, a report stated that there is one candidate who might be sent home for being pregnant. Aside from this, there were some who are allegedly overage.

Following this report, the true case of the alleged preggy candidate was revealed.

Based on the report published on the site of Philippine Entertainment Portal, one candidate, who was not named, was assumed pregnant because of her growing tummy.

The pageant’s Executive Director Bill Calubaquib clarified that there is no pregnant candidate in this edition.

Later on, it was found out that the said candidate has a liver disease.

According to the report, when the candidate joined the national pageant in her country, it was already known that she has a liver disease but her tummy was not that big before.

The Miss Intercontinental organizers decided not to include her in the preliminary swimsuit competition because of her condition.

The candidate can still join the pageant, according to the doctor.

For the candidate, she still has the determination to continue and finish the pageant despite her condition, based on the report.
