However, just recently, her boyfriend, the Kapamilya actor Xian Lim has this intriguing post consoling the actress regarding her MMFF entry film. He said in his posted Instagram story, “It’s ok, you did your best.”

This has then sparked various speculations. Some have said that the actress is probably crying because she was not able to bag the best actress award during the recently held “Gabi Ng Parangal” of 44th MMFF. While others were thinking that she felt over poor box-office showing of the movie.

But the hashtag entailed with the photo says otherwise.

Another netizen said agreeing with the prior comment, “Nasa twitter, dami reklamo from fans of the cast. Meron gusto magpa-block screen pero na-pull out at OGL, and Mary, Marry Me. Pull out din Rainbow’s Sunset at Otlum pero wala nagreklamo. Mostly big malls naging greedy. Kaya smaller cinemas talaga pinupuntahan ko.”

One netizen from a certain entertainment website commented, “Tinaas kasi to P500 yung ticket same with Fantastica, those 2 movies lang. Tapos binawasan yung theatres.”
