TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan January 15 winner is still Alex Gallardo from Visayas on her second win in the competition.
The daily contenders for today were:
- Yowhan Dulay (Metro Manila)
- Domingo Buena (Luzon)
- Reymar Mejares (Visayas)
The one who garnered the highest score of 92% during this round is Reymar Mejares from Visayas, the daily winner. He will be facing the defending champion Alex Gallardo of Visayas on her second day to defend the title and the “golden mikropono”.
And during the final round, the Tapatan, the daily winner and the defending champion have respectively performed Yakap Sa Dilim and Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.
But the one who garnered the highest score of 91.2% for the final round and announced as today’s defending champion is still Alex Gallardo.
Here are the criteria for judging:
- VOICE QUALITY – 50%
- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for January 15 are Louie Ocampo, Karylle, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, and “Punong Hurado” Rey Valera.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
