TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan January 12 winner is still Jannine Cartagena of Mindanao who is now on her 3rd win.
The January 12 daily contenders were:
- Andrea Fe Padilla (Metro Manila)
- Melchor Sorillano (Luzon)
- Rosavill Maquiling (Visayas)
And for today, out of the two daily contenders who got in for the first contestant was “gonged”, the one announced as the daily winner is Melchor Sorillano from Luzon garnering the highest average score of 90%. The daily winner proceeds to the final round and will be facing the defending champion Jannine Cartagena from Mindanao.
During the “Tapatan”, the daily winner and the defending champion have respectively performed the songs Paminsan-minsan and Someone Like You.
Earning a score of 91.4%, today’s winner is Jannine Cartagena on her 3rd win.

- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for January 10 are Karylle, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, K Brosas, and “Punong Hurado” Rey Valera.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
