Where did Kris Aquino P40-million go?
KRIS AQUINO P40-MILLION – A source from the firm of Kris Aquino finally revealed and sheds light as to where her P40-million worth of money went.
The answer to lingering question about the P40-million money of Kris Aquino finally surfaces, this is still with regards to the on-going feud of the actress against her former managing director Nicko Falcis.
In a report from Inquirer, it has been revealed by a source that the money went to an investment as it was accordingly invested by Falcis in Rocks PC Co., Ltd. (Potato Corner Thailand) accounting 10 percent of shares in that company.
Their Thai partners have reaffirmed Aquino last October in a text message that she is the “beneficial owner” of the P40-million investment under Falcis’ name, her trustee. Aquino is still the rightful owner including that of shares of Mang Inasal while Falcis is also a partner of the said venture.
“While the shares are in Nicko’s name as your trustee to protect your privacy, it is in our corporate records that you are indeed the beneficial owner of the said shares. You still have the right to vote and also the right to dividends that may arise in your 10 percent in Rocks PC Co. Ltd.,” the source said.
To recall, Kris sued Falcis and filed 44 counts of qualified theft against him for allegedly using P1.2-million of an amount from the credit card of her production company, the KCAP. He used the amount for his personal use instead of business purposes. And the issue about the P40-million is a separate topic.
“We had a meeting with Nicko’s sister and his lawyer in September, with the understanding that we were to have another meeting where they would give us the full financial report. They didn’t talk to us again. Instead, they’ve been maligning our client.” the report further added.
