TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan January 11 winner is still Jannine Cartagena from Mindanao, on her second win today.
The January 11 daily contenders were:
- Alfredo Cruz (Metro Manila)
- Armando Deleon (Luzon)
- LC Lusaban (Visayas)
All three performed their best but the one who bested out and the one earned the highest score of 91% is Alfredo Cruz from Metro Manila. The daily winner will be facing the defending champion Jannine Cartagena of Mindanao.
During the “Tapatan”, the daily winner and the defending champion have respectively performed the songs The Impossible Dream and Rolling In The Deep.
With 90.8 %, the defending champion is still Jannine Cartagena, her second win.
Here are the criteria for judging:
- VOICE QUALITY – 50%
- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for January 10 are Jaya, Yeng Constantino, Mitoy, Karylle, and “Punong Hurado” Rey Valera.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
