Liza Sobernaro’s Darna encounters a lot of problems, will it push through?
The Darna movie of Liza Soberano has already encountered a lot of problems and the question now is, will it push through?
Fans of the iconic Pinay superhero, as well as supporters of Liza, have been waiting when the movie will be shown.
However, from the start of the planning, already encountered problems.
First, the search for the perfect who will give justice to the iconic character. The initial choice was Angel Locsin, who already played Darna in the Kapuso teleserye.
On the other hand, Angel encountered health problems and so the production team needed to find another actress.
Later on, Liza Soberano got the part. However, another problem arose and it involved the storyline of the movie and so it was revised. It is no longer based on the story which the character creator Mars Ravelo did.
The problem did not stop there because an issue arose regarding the costume of Darna. Based on the article of Pilipino Star Ngayon, the costume must follow the modernity of the present generation.
It can also be recalled that the director of the movie, Erik Matti, resigned.
Based on a previous article, the veteran director complained that he will no longer work with people who do not embrace the project seriously.
However, Matti clarified that his statement was not for Liza. The actress also showed that she and the supposed director of Darna are still on good terms.
“Thank you so much for everything direk @erikmatti!!! This dinner really meant alot to me. Still hoping for a future project with you,” she previously wrote on her IG post.
When the project is about to pursue with a new director, according to the report, it was postponed again.

Then, it was said that it will push through in 2019.
Based on the report, there’s a sort of tradition in showbiz years ago that if there is a lot of cause of delay in a project, it will never be pushed through.
