Miss Universe 2018: Fil-Am Fashion Designer Will Be One Of The Judges

Monique Lhuillier will be one of the Miss Universe 2018 judges.

MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – The  Filipino-American fashion designer Monique Lhuillier is one of the judges of this year’s prestigious pageant Miss Universe.

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) president Paula Shugart shared and confirmed that Monique Lhuillier will serve as one of the respected judges of the Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Shugart said, “It’s all women, all female empowerment, they’re all role models for every one of our contestants to aspire to be. I think our fans from the Philippines will be very happy. We have a famous Filipina designer, Monique Lhuillier. Very excited. She’s very happy to be participating.”

Other judges include Namibian Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean. The Miss Universe pageant for this year will be held at the IMPACT Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

Monique Lhuillier is internationally for her bridal ready-to-wear and lifestyle brand launched on 1996. She has then established fashion houses in Los Angeles, California, where she initially works and lives, and in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Monique has already designed dresses for celebrities such as Sofia Carson, Kelsea Ballerini, Anne Curtis, Reese Witherspoon, Lili Reinhart, Chloe Bennet, Lucy Hale, Sofia Vergara, Anastasia Steele wedding gown in Fifty Shades Freed, Pink, Camila Cabello, and a lot more.
