SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar Sharon Cuneta is going to star in a horror film directed by Erik Matti after signing a contract under Reality Entertainment.

The veteran actress Megastar Sharon Cuneta has announced on Friday that she signed a movie contract with the Reality Entertainment. She is set to star in a horror film as directed by the award-winning director Erik Matti.

The horror film has a working title “Kwaresma” and is targeted to premiere in the cinemas in 2019. This is the first project of the veteran actress with Direk Matti according to her Instagram post and even described as a “dream come true”.

Erik Matti is known for the films he has directed such as Buy Bust, Seklusyon, Honor Thy Father, On The Job, Rigodon, Pa-Siyam, Mano Po 2, Ekis, Rounin, The Arrival, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles, and a lot more.

Meanwhile, Reality Entertainment is a production company founded and managed by the Filipino filmmaker Erik Matti and his producing partner Dondon Monteverde. Other films under this production company are Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang, Kung Fu Divas, Kubot, Resureksyon, Second Coming, and among others.

The fans of the Megastar also expressed their excitement about this as this is the first time of Sharon to do a horror film. Previously, she also starred in the suspense thriller film “Biktima” directed Lino Brocka.

The film “Biktima” is about the mysterious and dangerous figure abusive to women spreading his terror in a particular city and that is the start of intrigues, tensions, and danger.
