Joshua Garcia and Jane Oineza talked about their new project together
Kapamilya stars Joshua Garcia and Jane Oineza recently expressed their excitement about their onscreen reunion for the TV series Love Is Never Gone.
The series, which is directed by Emmanuel Palo and Jojo Saguin, served as Joshua’s first project with his leading lady, actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi.
Joshua and Jane, who first crossed paths on Pinoy Big Brother: All In in 2014, believe their long-standing comfort with one another is key to their chemistry on screen, based on the article in Inquirer.
In the series, they portray ex-lovers Teo Crisanto and Larajean Loyola. The journey of Jane’s character is focused on her attempt to rekindle their romance following a difficult breakup.
“This isn’t the first time na nagka-work kami after ‘PBB,’ but it’s been a while,” Jane Oineza said. Garcia quickly chimed in, noting that this marks their first long-form drama collaboration in 11 years.
Their first acting project together was the 2023 film Fruitcake, and in 2015, they were featured in the drama Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita. Through the years, they remained good friends.
The actress shared that their movie three years ago was kind of “bitin” for her. She quipped that It was because she just appeared for two days. This made Joshua laugh as well.
On the other hand, the actor said that he’s happy to be reunited with Jane in this new Kapamilya series. “Masaya ako na kasama ko si Jane rito kasi nakakatuwa na mag-reunite sa mga dati mong ka-housemate. Sobrang comfortable namin sa isa’t isa,” the actor said.
Meanwhile, in a recent media conference for this upcoming series, Joshua Garcia shared something about his love scene with Ivana Alawi. They actually shot the scene in the Philippines, even though the story is setated that it was in Morocco.
