Tropical Cyclone Tomas Re-Enters PAR Again Affecting PH Weather

The state weather bureau PAGASA announced that tropical cyclone Tomas re-entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) again.

On Monday (November 26, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest updates about Tomas.

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Tomas weakened into a severe tropical storm after re-entering the country’s vicinity for the second time.

Severe Tropical Storm Tomas with international name “Man-Yi” was last spotted at 1,410 kilometers east of Cagayan’s Aparri town.

The weather disturbance weakened with reduced maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 135 kph moving 10 kph at a northwest direction.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon would bring cloudy weather conditions with isolated light rain over the Ilocos, Cordillera Administrative, and Cagayan Valley Regions.

Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers are also expected over the rest of the country.

The coastal water conditions over the northern section of Luzon would be moderate to rough while the surrounding sea conditions over the eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be moderate to rough.

Slight to moderate coastal waters are expected over the remaining parts of the country.
