Authorities Arrest Martin Diño’s Brother-in-Law in Drug Buy-Bust Operation
MARTIN DIÑO BROTHER-IN-LAW – The brother-in-law of Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Martin Diño was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation.
The campaign against drugs continues under the term of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Recently, another person related to a government official was arrested by the authorities in a drug buy-bust operation.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the brother-in-law of DILG Usec. Martin Diño was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation that was conducted in Marikina today, Friday, November 23, 2018.
Reportedly, the brother-in-law of the DILG Usec is Emmanuel Bautista, 52 years old. He is known as an alleged seller of drugs.
Diño reportedly confirmed to ABS-CBN News that one of the suspects who allegedly sold drugs to the undercover police authorities in Barangay Conception Dos is a brother of his wife.
Based on the report, Bautista is currently detained and is facing charges over the alleged selling of drugs.
On the part of the DILG Usec., he expressed that he has given him the advice to file a complaint in case there were irregularities during his arrest.
