TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan November 22 winner is still the defending champion and Semifinalist Armando Mandapat.

The Tawag Ng Tanghalan is a prominent singing contest for the amateur singers in the Philippines aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year.

Previous grand champions were were Noven Belleza for the first year, Jhon Clyd Talili in Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids, and Janine Berdin as on the second year. The three winners have now established a career as singers in the entertainment industry.

The November 22 daily contenders were Trecia Anne Bayani of Luzon who sang Jessie J’s “Masterpiece“, from Visayas Champagne Thea Cabido who performed “On My Own“, and Javier Franco Quitoriano with his performance of “Stay With Me“.

The one who bested out among the three daily contenders is the contestant from Luzon with a score of 88.2% and will be facing the defending champion and now a semifinalist Armando Mandapat.

Armando Mandapat, the defending champion is already a semifinalist after his fifth win yesterday against the daily winner with a score of 95% singing Basil Valdez’s classic love song “Kastilyong Buhangin“.

During the final round, the “tapatan”, the daily winner performed “Wings” and the semifinalist and defending champion Armando Mandapat sang an OPM classic “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas“.

Both performing their best but the one who was hailed as today’s defending champion is still the defending champion from Metro Manila with an average score of 95.2%.
