Class Suspensions On Tuesday (November 20) Due To Tropical Depression Samuel

Several local government units have declared class suspensions over some parts of the country due to the Tropical Depression Samuel.

On Tuesday (November 20, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Samuel was expected to hit Dinagat-Samar-Leyte area.

Samuel has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 65 kph but it is also expected to intensify into a tropical storm this evening.

Class Suspensions

The tropical depression is now moving closer to the central and southern regions of the country prompting some regional offices to suspend the classes.
