Al-fred Concepcion, Balaoan Vice Mayor, Ambushed In La Union
BALAOAN VICE MAYOR – Balaoan Town, La Union Vice Mayor Al-fred Concepcion was reportedly ambushed.
This 2018, several politicians were left dead by attacks from unidentified persons. The list includes Mayor Antonio Halili of Tanauan City Batangas and Mayor Ferdinand Bote of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.
The incident that took the life of Mayor Halili happened during a flag-raising ceremony in front of the city hall.
Aside from the two Mayors, Mayor Mariano Blanco III of Cebu was also shot. It happened inside the city hall and he was left dead.
Not only mayors but as well as Vice Mayors were faced with unexpected attacks that took their lives. Trece Martires, Cavite Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan and Sapa-Sapa Town, Tawi-Tawi Vice Mayor Al-Rashid Mohammad Ali belong in the list.
Mayor Halili, Mayor Bote, and Vice Mayors Lubigan and Ali were just among the many politicians faced with sudden death this 2018. Their families, relatives, friends, and constituents were left wanting justice for their deaths.
Furthermore, lots of people are also worried over the safety 0f their political leaders and family and friends in politics. The series of politician deaths has caused an alarm and several cases were not yet closed.
Recently, another report about an attack on a politician crossed the surface. According to Manila Bulletin, Balaoan Vice Mayor Al-fred Concepcion was ambushed in La Union.
The report is through Erwin Beleo. As of this writing, there are still no further details about the condition of the Vice Mayor and the incident.
