Imelda Marcos Slammed By Netizen For Joining Party After Convicted w/ Graft
A certain netizen slammed the former first lady Imelda Marcos for joining a party with some government officials after she was convicted with graft charges.
Last week, the anti-graft court sentenced the 89-year-old widow to a maximum of 77 years imprisonment for committing seven counts of graft.
Imelda’s arrest warrant was expected to be released this week but she could post bail, according to the Sandiganbayan.
Recently, a Facebook user named Wagas Amoroso lambasted the former first lady for attending a party, the same day she was convicted of graft.
Marcos attended a party and strikes a pose along with several government officials during the birthday party of her daughter Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos.
The former first lady attended the party together with Solicitor General Jose Calida, House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Amoroso stressed that suspected drug addicts were being killed while Imelda who was convicted with seven counts of graft could still party.
