PH Expects 2 Tropical Cyclones To Enter PAR This November, PAGASA Says

The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the Philippines should expect at least two tropical cyclones to enter PAR this month of November.

On Friday (November 2, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that one to two tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

PAGASA reported that the country might experience stronger tropical cyclones during the last quarter of the year based on the weather bureau’s data from 1948 to 2017.

Tropical Cyclones

The expected weather disturbances usually affect the weather condition over the central and southern part of the country.

The weather agency explained that tropical cyclones would either form inside PAR or in the Pacific.

Meanwhile, Typhoon Rosita’s trough would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.

Rosita is currently moving towards southern China.

Localized thunderstorms were also expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country despite the fair weather condition.
