Janno Gibbs Posts Tribute for his late Ang Probinsyano Co-Actor Rico J. Puno
RICO J. PUNO – Actor-singer Janno Gibbs posted a heartfelt tribute to his late FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano co-actor Rico J. Puno.
The sudden death of OPM legend Rico J. Puno left many hearts broken. His manager and sister-in-law, Anna Puno, confirmed Rico’s death on October 30, 2018.
The late OPM legend died of cardiac arrest. Many of his celebrity friends and the people he has worked with have paid tribute to him. One of them is actor-singer Janno Gibbs.
Rico J. Puno and Janno Gibbs worked together in the ABS-CBN primetime action-drama television series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. It is top-billed by Kapamilya actor Coco Martin.
Rico J. Puno played the character of Engelbert “Daga” Moreno in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. His character’s son, Bruno Moreno, was played by Janno Gibbs.

Paying tribute to the late OPM legend, on his Instagram account, Janno posted a photo of Rico J. Along with it is a heartfelt caption of the singer for his Ang Probinsyano co-actor.

Janno Gibbs bid goodbye to Rico J. Puno. He stressed that the latter is the original “King of Soul”. According to him, it is his honor to do his own version of several songs of the late OPM legend.
Janno also expressed his happiness over having Rico as his father in FPJAP. He stated that the latter will always remain alive in the hearts of the people through his songs.
