In line with the promotion of the film, Paul Soriano appeared as guest on the ABS-CBN late-night talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda. During his appearance, he opened up about his love life before and his relationship with Toni Gonzaga.
Based on a recent report on Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), Paul entered romantic relationships twice before he met Toni. He expressed that his past girlfriends were “beautiful women” whom he learned so much from.
According to the filmmaker, his first girlfriend was his best friend and he was in fourth year high school when they became a couple. He admitted that aside from his two previous relationships, he also had his “fun times”.
“I had those fun times with girls you meet… I was very immature at that time, I was very spontaneous and not really caring about tomorrow,” he said.
Based on the report, although Toni Gonzaga is not Paul Soriano’s first girlfriend, she is his first love.
“Tin is really my first love. Only because I chose and I made a decision on my own to spend the rest of my life with her,” the filmmaker said.

According to Direk Paul, his wife is his first love and his inspiration. He expressed that she showed him the kind of love that he has never experienced before.
“Only Toni could show me that love and Seve. It’s unique and she’s the mother of Seve and our future children,” he expressed.

Based on the report, Direk Paul Soriano admitted that he wanted to have another child. Surely, many of their fans and supporters are also excited to see a mini Toni Gonzaga or another little Paul.
