Regine Velasquez Gives Message for GMA-7, Her Home Network for 20 Years
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Philippines’ Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez gave a message for GMA-7, her home network for 20-years.
Actress-singer Regine Velasquez has worked under the GMA-7 for 20 years. She has been part of several Kapuso shows. Her husband, Ogie Alcasid, was also a Kapuso before.
Currently, Ogie is already a Kapamilya. They have a son named Nathaniel James of Nate. Regine remained with the Kapuso network and she’s given a show, Sarap Diva.

Recently, there were rumors and speculations that Regine Velasquez is transferring to ABS-CBN from GMA-7. The rumors kept going on until the GMA-7 confirmed Regine’s transfer.
As to the GMA-7, they respect the decision of the actress-singer. Her husband has also put down the accusations that he convinced his wife to transfer to his home network now.

Based on a recent video posted by GMA network on YouTube, during the 6th-anniversary episode of Sarap Diva, Regine Velasquez gave a message for her 20-year home network, GMA-7.
The actress-singer expressed her gratitude to the GMA executives and bosses. She mentioned Miss Darling de Jesus, Ma’am Lilybeth Rasonable, Redgie Magno, Mr. Felipe Gozon, and Mr. Gilberto Duavit.
“I have stayed here for two decades. Maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwalang ibinigay niyo sa akin and for taking good care of me,” she said.
Regine Velasquez also expressed her thanks to Miss Wilma Galvante, a former GMA-7 executive whom she considers as her second mom.
Furthermore, the actress-singer also expressed her gratitude and love to all the people that she has worked with in Sarap Diva. She stressed that she has learned a lot.
“Yung six years na yun, like I said andami kong natutunan. Nakilala ko lahat and dito po sa Sarap Diva, talagang one family na po kami… You will continue to see Sarap Diva,” she assured.
Based on the video, Regine Velasquez ended by expressing her thanks to GMA-7, her home network for 20 years. She also thanked the advertisers and the viewers.
“All I have is gratitude for GMA. Thank you very, very, very much for everything, for taking good care of me, not just me but my whole family,” she said.
