Direk Bobet Reveals The Person Behind Ryan Bang’s Inclusion On “It’s Showtime”
Direk Bobet Vidanes revealed who among the ABS-CBN bosses suggested the inclusion of Ryan Bang in “It’s Showtime”.
The Filipino television director, Bobet Vidanes, was also the director of Pilipinas, Game KNB?, Pilipinas Got Talent, and the current noontime show, It’s Showtime.
This show is starred by some of the biggest entertainers in ABS-CBN namely Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, and Ryan Bang among others.
Direk Bobet received praise from each of the It’s Showtime hosts. They showed their appreciation and love for the director.
On the video posted by ABS-CBN, Direk Bobet made some revelations regarding Ryan Bang’s first opportunity to join the show. He spent most of his showbiz career on It’s Showtime.

Ryan expressed his gratitude for the director and for giving him a chance to be part of their family.
Here is what Ryan Bang said to the Direk Bobet:
“Wala po akong pamilya dito pero Direk binigyan mo ako ng pagkakataon na may pamilya ako sa Philippines,” Ryan said.
“Saka nag-umpisa akong hurado, kinuha niyo po ako Direk kahit di pa ako marunong mag-Tagalog,” he added.
The director answered that Ryan developed his talent on the show but it was not him who recruited the ex-PBB Housemate.
“Actually hindi po ako ang kumuha ky Ryan”.
Direk Bobet recalled that he had no idea who Ryan Bang was and once asked if Ryan’s stints was really that funny.
“May taong nagbigay sa akin ky Ryan Bang. Talagang ipinilit sa akin na gamitin niyo si Ryan Bang”
“Nakakatawa ba to?.. Pero magaling.. Magaling yung bata,” he added.
He then asked Ryan to say thank you to Cory Vidanes.
Cory Vidanes is the wife of Direk Bobet and also the current Chief Operating Officer of Broadcast for ABS-CBN.
“Ryan, you should thank Cory Vidanes… Si Cory Vidanes ang nagbigay sa\yo sa akin,” he said
On the video, the Korean host was surprised after hearing the news.
He had no idea that one of the bosses of ABS-CBN was the person who’s behind his successful showbiz career.
Ryan Bang, of course, took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Vidanes.
“Tita Cory, thank you so much, kayo pala Tita Cory! Ngayon ko lang nalaman!” Ryan said.
