Eddie Garcia Breaks Silence on Don Emilio’s Rumored Comeback in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
ANG PROBINSYANO – Veteran actor Eddie Garcia put end to the rumor that his character, Don Emilio, in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano will make a comeback.
Undeniably, one of the longest-running Filipino television series is ABS-CBN network’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. The primetime action TV series starred by Coco Martin has a very huge casting.
Many actors and actresses are part of the FPJAP casts. Some of those who are part of Season 1 are no longer present in the current season and many have recently joined the show.
One of the Season 1 characters who are not present in the current episode is Don Emilio, an antagonist played by Eddie Garcia. He is one of the main opponents of SPO2 Ricardo “Cardo” Dalisay.
However, the previous exit of Eddie Garcia’s character in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Don Emilio, sparked speculations and rumors that he might make a comeback in the Kapamilya program.

For several months now, despite that there are already lots of happenings in FPJAP, rumors that Don Emilio will return did not die. Recently, the veteran actor playing the said role broke his silence on the rumors.
Speaking to Pep, Eddie Garcia confirmed that Don Emilio will be back in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Based on the report, a taping for his comeback is set to start this October.
“Oo, babalik ako this month. Mga kalagitnaan siguro,” he said.
When asked if he will change his character when he returns to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Eddie Garcia answered in the negative. According to him, he will still be Don Emilio but he will change his name.
“Panoorin na lang nila and it will be a surprise,” he said.

Based on the report, Eddie Garcia also spoke on the length of time that the FPJAP is airing on TV. According to him, it is a business on the part of the network so it will continue as long as the viewers like it.
“Kapag nagugustuhan kasi ng tao, hahaba ‘yan. Sa network kasi negosyo ‘yan, e. Kung kumikita, ituloy mo, di ba?” the veteran actor said.
Furthermore, Eddie Garcia also commended Coco Martin’s act of letting actors and actresses who have lost their showbiz career join the program. He affirmed that the FPJAP star is the only person he knows who is doing it.
“Napakaganda ng ginagawa ni Coco. Kaya ang laking pasasalamat ng mga dating artista na walang trabaho, nabibigyan ng trabaho,” he said.
