The residents of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental were complaining about the alleged substandard newly built flood control system.

Nowadays, massive flooding is very common in different parts of the country especially during this rainy season bringing bad weather condition.

Flood control system is one of the best strategies to control and prevent flooding along the road causing inconvenience to the public.

Recently, the Facebook page “Brigada News Fm Bacolod” has uploaded the photos of newly built flood control systems and bumpy road along Lacson St. in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

The photos show a damaged flood control system and unfinished drainage along the street, which causes inconvenience to the motorists.

The netizens were claiming that the newly-built flood control system is made up of substandard materials and the budget for the unfinished drainage was already spent by alleged corrupt officials.
