Typhoon Ompong is a “premonition of bad things coming our way”, according to columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis.
During the time that the typhoon is showing its intensity in various parts of the country, Lolit wrote her realization on Instagram.
The talent manager said that she never felt strong wind before unlike now. Because of this, she said that she does not want to think that it is trying to say something.
“Ayokong isipin na para bang sign ito ng kung ano or premonition ng bad things coming our way,” Lolit Solis wrote.
She also said that Typhoon Ompong has something to say. For her, people should pay attention in taking care of the environment.
Lolit pointed out that citizens of the world should think that the issue in climate change is really serious.
The entertainment columnist also cited some possible ways in order to minimize the damage after calamities.
She pointed out that everyone should do their part and improves each person’s attitude towards the environment.
Manay Lolit also hopes that it is not yet too late to change.
“Kasi naman human nature na natin lahat, ‘pag andiyan ang panganib saka lang mag-iisip, saka lang matatakot,” she said.
At the end of her post, Lolit called out to every individual.
“God is already showing us signs, we must listen now. Katakot talaga. Sana wala naman masyadong pinsala. Sana napaghandaan naman mabuti. God help us more,” she wrote on her post.
